Boys and Girls Clubs planning party
Treats, surprises and a visit from Santa will all be part of the 81st Annual Boys & Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls Christmas Party at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Central Branch club at Sixth and Broad.
Gail Richardson, president of the Boys & Girls Club board of directors will be mistress of ceremonies and past president Martin Litteken will lead a Christmas carol sing-along.
Santa and helper Steve Nielsen will pass out bags of traditional goodies including fruit and nuts.
All Boys & Girls Club members, ages 6 to 12 with current membership cards will be seated on the main floor and other youth guests and parents will be seated in the bleacher sections. the party will be open to the general public and admission is free.
Buses will provide transportation for youth members from all club locations.
