Bride Chic: Etsy Bridal Designer Showcase

A few weeks back we explored the Etsy designers as today's new genre of trendsetters. Today we're going to be focusing in on some of the most pivotal and talented of those designers, and just plain enjoying the beauty each and every one of them produces... Most all of the wedding dresses you see are made to order and if you contact the designers, chances are you can talk to them personally about customizing the design to your own specifications

Above and below are the creations of Long Beach designer Joan Shum, who combines her love of art, costume and fashion into every piece.

In photo 5, the dresses pictured are actually one dress! Aptly named the Chameleon, Isadora Clothing styles wrap gowns in eco-friendly fibers like cotton bamboo jersey and soy cotton jersey. They also have cutting edge bridesmaid styles your maid of honor might actually wear after the big event. And the gown in photo 6 (by Annabel and Ruby) is steeped in pure 30's chic, with its sleek silhouette and slinky fabric.

The gorgeous confections in photo 7 were designed by Elizabeth Dye of The English Department. all her designs are crafted by hand in her Portland, Oregon studio. her line is primarily wedding and party dresses with that touch of tattered chic.

And in photo 8, dresses by Sara Seven (designer from Portland, Oregon) are featured. her inspirations are triggered, as she puts it, by Hollywood, pearls, recycled fabrics, romance, nature, lace... just lovely!
